The project KISHLAY aims to uproot the evil of Child Marriage prevailing in the selected villages of Madhupur block and Saraiyahat block of Deoghar and Dumka Distirct in Jharkhand through formation and strengthening of Adolescent group. Child Marriage prevalence is an important impediment to achieve adolescent wellbeing.

Chetna Vikas is initiating this project in three Panchayats of Deogarh district (15 Villages).Although the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act (PCMA) was notified in Jharkhand since 2006, no such case has undergone any legal procedure yet. Chetna Vikas is trying to create a mechanism to prevent Child Marriage in targeted areas.
