A one-day workshop on the POCSO Act was jointly organized by Chetna Vikas, AIIMS Deoghar, and DLSA at the AIIMS Deoghar auditorium. The primary objective of the workshop was to discuss the effective implementation of POCSO cases and the roles of various stakeholders involved.

The event was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Ashok Kumar, Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Deoghar, along with Dr. Saurabh Varshney, CEO of AIIMS Deoghar. The workshop also saw the participation of prominent figures, including Dr. Nishant Ahmed, Dr. Satya Ranjan Patra, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Abhay Kumar Dheeraj, Mr. Mayank Tushar Topno from DLSA, Kaushal Kumar and Devendra Pandey from CWC and the District Child Protection Officers, among other stakeholders.

The discussions during the workshop focused on the roles of doctors, police, lawyers, CWC members, NGOs, and support persons in the context of POCSO cases. The event provided a platform for in-depth discussions on the responsibilities and coordination required among these key players to ensure the effective enforcement of the POCSO Act.
